Musicians are a very special breed. They carry the gift of music in their hearts and many are marginalized and bullied for that very reason.  Yet, they continue to create and share their talents with our world.  We are asking musicians to celebrate what makes each of us different by making a different kind of NOISE, wearing misfit socks during a performance. The misfit socks symbolize differences and help to spread the empowering message that differences matter. Musicians influence our culture in a profound way-- they are the perfect match to spread the message of the MISFIT SOCK MOVEMENT.

 

It all begins with asking a music program, singing group or band to make a pledge to wear misfit (mismatched) socks,

tell their audience why they are doing this or maybe ask them to wear misfit socks too and spread the message about the importance of celebrating what makes each of us diffferent and to take a stand, lend a voice, against bullying.
