ABOUT THE MILLION MISFIT SOCK MARCH
From one family's laundry room grew an anti-bullying/youth empowerment movement that asks people to celebrate what makes them different and take a stand against bullying by wearing misfit (mismatched) socks. The MISFIT SOCK MOVEMENT has quickly gone national, engaging schools, organizations, colleges and professional sports teams.
This October 23rd and 24th we are celebrating the 3rd annual Million Misfit Sock March, and trying to get as many schools, organizations, businesses as possible across the country to ask their students, teachers, parents, employees to wear misfit socks for that one day,with purpose.
The concept is pliable. Have fun and be creative--everyone owns the power of this movement and the chance to celebrate what makes each of us different/unique and take a stand against bullying.
This year our goal is a MILLION people. Can you help us spread the word?

Misfit University and the Misfit Sock Movement was founded on the principle that we are all magnificent Misfits, and the very talents and experiences that can sometimes divide us, should define us and be nurtured and shared. So to celebrate those differences and share this spirit, we ask our world to wear misfit socks to be a catalyst for conversation and action for youth empowerment and anti-bullying.
