ARTS: LESSON TWO

 

SOCK FLOWERS

All you need for this lesson is:

 

• Cardboard

• Misfit socks

• Glue

• Wire

• Needle and thread

 

Draw/sketch some flowers in your Misfit Strong Journal.  Use your sketches to make larger patterns on white tracing paper. 

 

Take some thin pieces of cardboard an trace some flower designs

free-hand or using stencils. HAVE FUN.  

 

Cut out your cardboard flower.

 

Take some old misfit (mismatched)  socks and cut them to 

the match the cardboard designs.

 

Use fabric glue to adhere sock fabric to flower cut-outs.

 

You can use a needle and thread to so the 

edges of the flower.  

 

String the flowers together or hang them individually.

 

Add the SOCK flowers to your TREE.
